Grammy award nominated audio engineer Young Guru is set to start a 13 college tour with Grammy U sponsored in part by HP and Disc Makers.
Grammy U was set up by The Recording Academy for students “who are pursuing a career in the recording industry [and] to help prepare college students for their careers in the music”.
Young Guru will be holding 90 minute lectures where he’ll be focusing on the importance of audio engineering, music creation with in studio sessions demonstrating his personal techniques and discussing his many collaborations. There’s a lot to learn from this musical maven who’s collaborative resume includes the biggest names in hip hop from Jay-Z and Kanye, TI and Ludacris to Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Rihanna just to name a few.
