Childish Gambino isn’t too happy with his record label, Glassnote Records.
Soon after releasing the video for his latest “Because The Internet” single, “Sweatpants,” Gambino took to Twitter to express his frustration with the label, which he’s worked with for two albums to date (“Camp” and “Because The Internet”).
“so this sweatpants video and blog was important to us. it wasn’t handled correctly,” he tweeted of the visual and his Deep Web Tour blog.
The artist/actor continued to ask for “someone buy me out of this contract,” due to the mishandling of his project and for being allegedly lied to.

This isn’t the first time Gambino has showed disappointment towards those who handle his music. In November he tweeted that he was “pissed” that “this song was not supposed to come out tonight.”
“im trying to create one of the more imaginative rollouts, and other people’s lust for money and impatience is ruining it,” he continued.
