Madonna’s bizarre cast of cohorts for her follow-up to MDNA just got a little stranger. In addition to bumps from EDM godheads Diplo and Avicii, as well as superproducer Ariel Reichstad, she’s announced on Instagram that she’s also working with weirdo beathead Blood Diamonds and Kendrick Lamar producer DJ Dahi.
Both producers appear seated behind computers in Madge’s Instagram post with the caption “nothing can stop the Sex Boyzzzzzz! Aka Dahi and Blood Diamonds. #iconic #Sex #trustnobitch.” Blood Diamonds is Vancouver producer Mike Tucker, who just recently had another dose of fame with a co-production credit on Grimes’ Roc-A-Fella debut “Go.” DJ Dahi is the producer of Drake’s “Worst Behavior” and has also handled tracks by Lamar and the rest of the TDE crew. It’s pretty hard to imagine what sort of things these two would cook up together, let alone when Madonna is involved. Whatever ends up happening, it’s expected to be released in 2015.
