FKA Twigs responds to 'unacceptable' racist tweets from Robert Pattinson fans

FKA Twigs has labeled racist trolls “unacceptable” after being made a target of abuse for some fans of the actor Robert Pattinson, whom she has been romantically linked to in recent weeks.

The Mercury Prize-nominated singer, who released her debut album ‘LP1’ earlier this year, spoke out on Twitter after being sent abusive messages via the social network.

FKA Twigs, real name Tahliah Barnett, has been spotted holding hands with Robert Pattinson and spending time with the Twilight star on multiple occasions. Many of the abusive messages sent to the artist on Twitter appear to be from fans of either Pattinson or Kristen Stewart, his former partner and Twilight co-star.

In the first message responding to the abuse, the UK-based artist wrote:
