The return of one of Toronto’s most talented emcees
Kardinal Offishall is internationally known as one of the most talented and revered emcees to ever come out of Canada–Toronto specifically–and after putting out hit records with everyone from Rihanna to the Clipse, the tenured artist and A&R is ready to make his official comeback with his Kardi Gras EP series. The first volume, which will feature the above video–”K’Intro”–will feature music with a “wider scope,” while the second and third volumes of the EP will have music with a “rawer, more underground” vibe, and a combination of the two styles, respectively. On “K’Intro,” a stripped down video that allows the viewer to focus mainly on Kardinal and his vision, features the Toronto emcee kicking game in a way you’ve never seen him, speaking directly and passionately about the world, his scope, and his vision for our society.
