TRESOR OWNER VISITS POTENTIAL TECHNO CLUB IN DETROIT
Dimitri Hegemann, the man hoping to turn this Detroit factory into a techno club, has taken a tour of the derelict building.

Hegemann, also the owner of Tresor in Berlin, got the chance to look around the Fisher Body Plant No. 21, a place that “fulfills” his expectations.

Although the factory’s completely run down and was set on fire in the past, the tour guide explains that it couldn’t be burnt down because it’s so “solid” and “hard to destroy”.

Detroit Free Press reports that the club owner is in Detroit to present his plans to city officials, which cover “redeveloping, greening and repurposing” the building.

However, a state law that means alcohol cannot be served after 2am could pose a problem while it’s believed federal regulators could object to a club being so close to environmental hazards.
