Tiesto and Avicii collected around $50 million from deals with soda pop giants 7UP and Coca-Cola.
As if the big room giants weren’t doing well enough from download sales and touring alone, Tiesto managed to bring in an additional $30 million thanks to a deal with 7UP, and Avicii and Wyclef Jean raked in a tasty $20 million from their partnership with Coca-Cola.
Tiesto’s 7UP deal was part of the 7x7Up initiative, which also included deals with festival giants Insomniac and Ultra. The 7x7Up initiative focused on seven major festivals and seven rising DJs along with various Tiesto promos along the way.
Avicii made those fizzy millions from a OneRepublic remix he did with Wyclef Jean for Coca-Cola and the nonprofit Red organization as a part of World AIDS Day.
