AC/DC, Jack White and Drake will each headline a night of this year’s Coachella. The three-night festival, which features identical lineups playing over two weekends, will take place on the weekends beginning April 10th and April 17th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Other artists slated to perform on the first night include Steely Dan, Interpol, Tame Impala, Raekwon with Ghostface, Flying Lotus, Azealia Banks, Lykke Li and many others. The second day will feature sets by the Weeknd, Alt-J, Belle and Sebastian, Hozier, Bad Religion, Run the Jewels, Swans and FKA Twigs, among others. And the performers of the final day include Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, David Guetta, Jenny Lewis, Ryan Adams, Kaskade and Mac DeMarco, as well as many others.
The festival surprised music fans by tweeting out an image of the lineup with the phrase, “For those about to RT.” Click here for a larger link to the image.

The festival is the first North American date AC/DC have announced in support of their latest record, Rock or Bust, and it precedes their previously announced European tour, which is set to kick off in the Netherlands in May. Leading up to the release of the album, the band has been in a constant state of change: Guitarist Malcolm Young had to back out of the group to cope with a mental illness and drummer Phil Rudd was arrested on charges of drug possession and threatening to kill. Malcolm’s nephew Stevie Young, who played rhythm guitar on the album, will be playing with the band live; Rudd’s status in the group is uncertain.
