The singer-songwriter is already eyeing the follow-up to Ultraviolence.
In an interview with Billboard, Lana Del Rey has revealed the title of her next album: Honeymoon. She’s already written nine songs for the album (“the production is perfect” on four), and she says, “I’m looking for a few more songs to tie everything together.”
As for the tone of the album, she describes it as different from Ultraviolence and similar to Born To Die and it’s companion release Paradise. “It’s growing into something I really like,” she says. “I’m kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It’s been good.” Del Rey also plans to include a cover of Nina Simone’s ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ to “[summarize] the record with a jazz song. I’m having fun with my interpretation.”
