Calvin Harris

On Tuesday (Jan. 27), the Hakkasan Group announced an exclusive three-year partnership with Calvin Harris, creating a comprehensive music consultancy role for the Scottish artist and extending his affiliated residencies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Harris will hold residencies at Hakkasan Nightclub and Wet Republic at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, as well as Omnia Nightclub, which will open at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this spring.

Working in close consultation with the Hakkasan Group’s senior team, Harris will also act as a music consultant for the Hakkasan brand and help guide its expansion from restaurants and nightclubs into the hotel space.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Calvin Harris as he extends his exclusive residencies with Hakkasan Group,” says Neil Moffitt, CEO of Hakkasan Group, in a statement. “He is a truly sensational artist and we look forward to what he will bring to our most acclaimed venues over the next three years.”

Harris says he is looking forward to playing a part in the Hakkasan Group’s “next chapter.”

“Its venues are some of the best in the world for dance music and the opportunity to be part of the wider group as it develops into other markets and sectors is a really exciting prospect for me as an artist,” says Harris. “We have some great ideas up our sleeves.”
