Kobalt Music Publishing (KMP) has signed a worldwide deal with popular Brooklyn indie band, TV on the Radio.
This agreement covers all works from the band’s recently released album, Seeds.
Through the deal, Kobalt will also provide full global creative and sync services.
TV on the Radio, from Brooklyn, NY formed in 2001. The band has put out four studio albums and worked with the likes of David Bowie, Trent Reznor, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Their fifth studio album, Seeds, arrived on Harvest Records in November 2014.
The album was recorded and produced by band member Dave Sitek at his Federal Prism studio in Los Angeles.
TV on the Radio band members stated: “We’re very excited to be joining the Kobalt family and look forward to a productive future of creating with them.” Known for leading the wave of indie music throughout the Brooklyn music scene, TV on the Radio continues to inspire current and future independent musicians alike.
