Justin Bieber 2015

As it looks like Justin Bieber‘s Purpose is headed to the top of next week’s Billboard 200 albums chart over One Direction‘s Made in the A.M., the pop star’s Spotify figures are in and they look good — record-breaking good.

Bieber’s Purpose broke the global and U.S. records for the most streams for an album in its first week of release, with 205 million global streams and 77 million in the United States.

Not that One Direction fared poorly. The group’s Made in the A.M. had 106 million global streams, also breaking the previous record set by the Weeknd‘s Beauty Behind The Madness earlier this year at 90 million.
