You might recall that Chicago upstart Chief Keef was tweeting about how Birdman was looking to sign him to YMCMB last month. You also might recall that we spoke with Birdman and he confirmed that he’s been reaching out to the Windy City rapper’s team. Well, that all got taken to another level late last night when footage of an interview between the YMCMB head and MTV hit the web. The most telling part of the discussion is the following:

“That’s what I like, it’s a movement and he’s young, I think the game needs young blood all the time. [We] need youngsters to keep it innovative, because they’re new and creative in their own way. I’m into the young world. That’s my thing. And I’m [going to] do whatever it takes to make it happen.”
