Bieber Fever is alive and well in the Americas. The 18-year-old pop star, whose new album, Believe, is due out on June 19, sold out his entire U.S. and North American tour within one hour, according to his label, Island Def Jam.
In addition, tickets for Justin Bieber’s two Madison Square Garden shows (capacity: 20,000), scheduled for Nov. 28 and 29, went in 30 seconds.
Bieber’s Believe tour, presented by AEG Live, will hit 45 cities beginning September 29th in Glendale, Arizona. Fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, whose hit single “Call Me Maybe” was released by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun via his Schoolboy Records (in partnership with Interscope) is slated to open all shows through January. One dollar from each ticket sold will benefit non-profit Pencils of Promise.
