The Killers‘ Brandon Flowers as said the band’s new album is “going down a few different roads”.
Speaking to Billboard, Flowers also said that there would be other tracks like new single ‘Runaways’, which you can hear below, featuring on the record too.
‘”I had a good feeling about [Runaways],” he said. The new single “definitely has a couple of ‘brothers’ on the record. It’s a great starting point, but there are more styles as well…We’ve never hid our influences, and we’ve always been loud and proud. This album is going down a few different roads, and you really get a taste of what we like as a band and what we think our strengths are.”
Last week (July 19), the Killers made a live comeback at an intimate show in Asheville, North Carolina, where they played four new tracks from their forthcoming new album ‘Battle Born’, which is named after the words written on their native state Nevada’s flag. The album is due for release on September 17.
