Marsha Ambrosius blew her cover earlier this year when she tweeted about hitting the studio with Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T, and more. It wasn’t long before she was linked to the G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer. When asked about her involvement at the BMI Urban Awards, the British songstress called the experience “amazing.”
Earlier this month, a tracklisting for Cruel Summer hit the net with Marsha featured on a record called “The One” with Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean. For those who question if the song is real, she had this to say: “We’re all friends and it’s ‘The One.’”
The former Floetry member has completed her sophomore album Friends & Lovers. “You can expect me to be a complete asshole on one album,” said Marsha, who has reteamed with hitmakers Pop & Oak and Dre & Vidal. “Honestly and openly, the expressions of a woman, a very honest woman, and I’m not taking any prisoners.”
Plus, she recalled fond memories of performing Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love” at a talent show and more recently singing the National Anthem in front of her at the Mayweather vs. Cotto fight. [Rap-Up]
