I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Read people! It’s one thing to listen to the music but it’s an entirely separate thing to engage music further through studying the history. If you haven’t already read Rollin With Dre, an account of West Coast Hip Hop told by Bruce Williams, an associate and confidant of Dr. Dre’s, then now is your chance. The book will be coming to Amazon Kindle and will be updated with things that have happened since the physical copy was released in 2008. Don’t sleep on this.
