Jay-Z and his Roc Nation superstar Rihanna will headline the 2012 London Olympic Games music lineup. They will perform at the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend 2012 which will be on June 23rd and 24th, a month before the games begin.

The diverse musical weekend will have sounds from Beethoven to Jay-Z and from Shakespeare to Mike Leigh, as reported by Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt at the news conference in the Tower of London.
