Ester Dean was full of life when she visited “106 & Park” to promote Pitch Perfect. The singer-songwriter, who’s written hits for Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Katy Perry, plays Cynthia Rose in the musical comedy, in theaters October 5.

“Cynthia is a free-spirited lady lover and I grab a lot of breasts, a lot of booty,” said Ester, who rocked red braids and a leopard-print jacket. “Maybe if Nicki [Minaj] would have got in the film, she would have been my love interest or something.”

Ester is gearing up for the release of her first single “How You Love It” featuring Missy Elliott. “It’s super hood rich,” she revealed. “It’s dirty. It’s nasty. It makes you want to go get a boo. It’s a winter song, but it’s awesome. [Missy] went off.”

Her debut album, tentatively titled Story Never Told, is complete and awaiting a release date. [RapUp]
