Arnold founded IODA, which merged with The Orchard in 2012, growing the startup into one of the world’s largest digital distributors of independent music. “Having been a NARM participant since the early days of IODA, I’ve had a front row seat watching the dramatic change the industry has undergone over the past decade,” Arnold said. “I look forward to helping guide digitalmusic.org’s future as we face a new set of opportunities and challenges.” Arnold is also founder and director of Noise Pop Industries, which produces San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival and the Treasure Island Music Festival.
