The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are all ready. Nominees have been released and going with how MTV announced the location of this year’s 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, they’ve gone the social media route revealing nominees throughout the day on MTV’s Vine and Instagram accounts.

Leading the pack with six nods apiece are Justin Timberlake and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Timberlake had this year’s best selling album with “The 20/20 Experience”; Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had hit single after single, most notably this year’s best selling single, “Thrift Shop”. Close behind is Bruno Mars with four nods. Either way it’s been a big year for all these artists.

In honor of Brooklyn’s first time hosting the MTV VMA’s, influential Brooklyn artist KAWS will be doing a one-time-only redesign of the iconic Moonman.

Check out the full list of nominees below and make sure to vote for your favorite artists! Voting begins today at VMA.MTV.com. Of course, don’t forget to watch the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on August 25th!
