Mack Maine turned himself over to police custody on Friday (September 20) after being charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of sexual battery. MTV News reports that Jermaine Preyan, 31, surrendered to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office days after TMZ broke news that the Young Money Entertainment president was hit with a potential felony for allegedly attacking a female fan and her friend on a tour bus on August 22. Preyan handed himself over to the detention center, completed a “walkthrough,” and was released the same day. His bond was set at $9,000.

As per court documents obtained by TMZ, authorities claim Preyan invited the two women onto the vehicle at a stop in Oklahoma. While onboard, he apparently “put his hand down [one woman’s] dress and grabbed her right breast” without consent. When the women tried to leave the bus, he allegedly held the door shut. After the door was opened, one of the women (the one who was not allegedly sexually assaulted) started to leave, but turned around to call for her friend. Preyan then reportedly “punched her in the face, breaking her jaw, and knocking her down.”

Maine’s legal trouble comes just ahead of Young Money’s biggest release of the year, Drake’s Nothing Was the Same, which arrives on September 24. Drake has been on a recent media blitz to promote the upcoming album, making appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Ellen, but the Toronto MC postponed his forthcoming tour on Friday, citing “an intense rehearsal schedule and technical production requirements that will be part of the show.”
