Last night’s much-anticipated (particularly in the Rock and Roll Capital) Cavaliers-Knicks game LeBron James home game in Cleveland since The Decision four years ago  was given one hell of a rollout Thursday night on TNT. The main event of the pre-game show, which also featured appearances by Imagine Dragons and comedian Kevin Hart (already with this guy, really? It’s not even All-Star Weekend yet!), was headlined by Kendrick Lamar, who gave a typically stirring performance of recent single “i” to commemorate the Return of the King.

Of course, the performance was likely the highlight of the evening for many in attendance, as the Cavs’ home debut was ruined by the Knicks in a surprise road upset. Sorry about that (not really). Watch above, and pity poor Kendrick as he has to return to his normal life of rooting for the abysmal Lakers.
