Without a doubt, 2014 was a pretty big year for Danish indie-pop star Mø. After releasing her debut album, No Mythologies to Follow, the reedy-voiced singer contributed to the recent Mockingjay Part One soundtrack — she co-wrote Ariana Grande and Major Lazer’s “All My Love,” one of the project’s most bombastic cuts — and hooked up with rapper of the moment, Iggy Azalea, on the Aussie’s clanging single, “Beg For It.”

To celebrate her banner year, Mø has just dropped a short, retrospective little song appropriately called “New Year’s Eve.” It’s a gorgeous, emotive single that takes a deep dive into what it’s like to revisit the past from the present.
